Register terminal parameters

This topic applies only to Retail POS.

For Retail Point of sale, encompassing MPOS, CPOS and the Store Commerce application, the Hardware profile EFT Service provides the core configuration that drivers the payment terminal functionality for a given Register. There are however a number of configurations that are configured Register by Register. MAX Pay Global includes configuration settings on the Register to allow each Register to be individually configured or addressed (e.g. Payment terminal IP address). These are propogated to the store channel database by the RRPS job.

After changing the parameters, you will need to run the RRPS job. In addition, we recommend also running the 1070 and 1090 jobs if other Register specific entities have changed.
