Creating a New User to Device Mapping
MPG allows users to access multiple payment devices and maintains the default device for that user. A record of the Default Device will automatically be created first time a user selects a Payment Device whilst processing a payment (For example, during a Posted Sales Invoice payment).
Payment Device User List
To navigate to this List, search for “Payment Device User List” and choose the relevant Link.
Use the List to view the Default Devices for each User(s). From this Form, you can create a new mapping for a new user or edit a mapping for an existing user or delete a mapping. Changes take effect immediately.
Creating a New User to Device Mapping
To set the Default Device for a BC User, choose the +New option. This option allows you to pre-set the default device for a user, before they process a payment.
Enter the User ID and Choose a corresponding Device ID.
Note – A user can only be mapped to one Default Device but many users can map to the same device.
The device they are mapped to will be defaulted during Pay by Device:
Deleting a mapping
To delete a mapping, select the user and choose delete. The mapping will be removed. The next time the user processes a payment, the default device will be the first device on the list. The device used during the first payment will be used to create a new Mapping, so this device is defaulted to in the future.
